Why We're Starting This Blog

Coming from a Catering Sales and Event management background, to running a successful Event Coordination business Katie and I have a lot of experience in the event industry. We have insight, tips and stories that could help any bride and groom with planning their special day. This blog post will be the first of many posts where we will share our thoughts and ideas about the wedding planning process.

Katie and I have always had a passion for event planning and design. We also love helping others and there is no better way to do that than making the biggest day of a couples life possible. We love working closely and developing relationships with brides and grooms and mom’s and dad’s as we go along with the planning process.

We believe that every day in our lives should be filled with fun, love and joy. We partner with staff and vendors who feel the same. Working with people with such a positive outlook is truly a blessing. Our team on any given event shares our beliefs and ideas and love to help and serve others.

Annette: As a mother of 6 six wonderful children and Grandmother to a gaggle of sweet little children serving others has always been a part of my everyday life and it is something I love doing and I am so thankful that I get the opportunity to do a job that allows me to help and serve others. I always tell my client, “I may not be your mom but I care about your wedding as much as your mom does”.

Katie: Getting a chance to develop relationships with couples and help them plan a beautiful day is a rewarding process. Being able to do a job where the client is always happy and thrilled with how the day turned out is the best thing anyone could ask for. When we work with a client we become close with them, we develop a relationship with them and seeing the day of be executed perfectly is the most rewarding feeling.

We here at Wheat and Honey Look forward to sharing our thoughts, ideas and tips with all potential and future brides!

Hugs XoXo
